State Feedback Reshaping Control of Voltage Source Converter

Admittance reshaping is a widely used strategy to address the converters low-frequency stability issues in weak grid, caused by PLL and its interaction with dc ac voltage controls. However, asymmetric control of $d$ - notation="LaTeX">$q$ -axis current references coupling between converter sides restricts damping capability single-input single-output feedbacks. This phenomenon gets even worse presence nearby converters. article extends concept admittance multi-input multi-output control. A full state feedback added reference increase conventional multiloop systematic offline algorithm delegated design feedback, scalar coefficient employed activate/deactivate online making proposed solution user-friendly. The analyzed both time frequency domains tested parallel-operation other converters, shows higher than solutions good robustness respect grid impedance operating point variations. Experimental tests under disturbances are conducted lab setup hardware-in-the-loop.
